Feature: Trovata. Trovata's Spring 2009 collection promises simple and effortless and it has delivered. Although the clothes do not have the wow factor that I'll expect from other designers, they are clothes people actually wear. I particularly love the detailing and California ease of the men's pieces and the subtle elegance of the women's. In terms of particular looks, the men's navy suit has a "satorialist" effect and I love the tailoring and classic Trovata brown buttons on the women's white coat. Overall, I think Trovata sets a nice understated tone for the upcoming season.
