Feature: Charles Anastase. This collection balances topsy turvy, avant-garde, geek, and princess through its muted palette, total juxtaposition and layered silhouettes for spring. It reminds that I love two colors and a shade in between: black for fall, white for spring, and grey all year round. Also, I'm loving the naughty use of tan platforms with these monochromatic outfits, since I have a weakness for platforms. This Charles Anastase works for my inspiration as a graduate student since it adds edgy insanity to the otherwise mundane ins and outs of daily life! Most of all, I love the Vivienne Westwood allusions throughout the collection. Dare I say it, I like it better than Westwood. All in all, my favorite look is #1. All images courtesy of style.com.
