Derek Lam 10 Crosby

Derek Lam's new and lower price point line 10 Crosby does nothing to disappoint.  His resort and spring collections are flirty, colorful and subtly well tailored.   His use of colors on the models outfits juxtaposed with their larger posters in the background gives us a sense of his collection's vision.  I think this is an instance in which a lower price point line by a designer manages to make it younger, more bohemian and more affordable without sacrificing the color prints, jackets and femininity his signature label is known for.  I have to say, after looking at Derek Lam's signature collection, I don't see much of a difference except for the price point and materials.   In fact, I may like the vibe of 10 crosby more!
