I think Alex's new collection is refreshingly structural. I think that it's nice to see him return to some of his harder looks, although he's still incorporating this very "sporty" feel through the mesh fabrics. While I'm not the biggest fan of the latter, I love what he's doing with the asymmetrical lines and juxtaposition of fabrics in unexpected places. It seems to work -- all of the textures would be amazing pieces accessorized and energized with your own color palette this fall.
